CLT Forum/Fiesta
[ 2:00 AM ]
I haven't stepped into HQ NCC for awhile. It feels the same but it's quieter now. The security at the front gate is stricter. Now, they are enforcing the rules. That's like finally. I didn't get to see my beloved dada (gary pek). What a pity.
Instead, I spotted many new faces. I feel like a fresh member in the family, walking through crowds who I don't know. It was awkward. Thankfully, Hui Ru was there for me. She has always been a great buddy, who comes in "handy" all the time. I miss her sarcasm actually.
I walked alongside her to the seats in the MPH and whispered into her ears, "NCC is still that cock up after 2 years." and she smiled back at me.
Soon, the emcee urged the crowd to settle down and began the forum. Mostly, regarding the new rules implemented into the system. Yet, I was disappointed once again that HQ was not keen in supporting tertiary NCC club. Basically in our own term, "all talk, no action."
BULLSHIT! That is it. Whatever, it's not like I'm going to benefit from it. Let's put the political issue aside.
The fiesta wasn't that fantastic as commented by Hajar/Hui Ru but it was my first time participating such event. I enjoyed the food first, followed by the activty. In between we slacked with Shamsul in the office. The highlight of the day wasn't the live singing but the dancefloor.
Commandant called it "disco night" and that's out dated. It was unexpected how well and wild NCC people can get at the floor. A look at them and they resemble hardcore clubber. I'm sure they are and Azril's gang actually went to MOS after the whole thing. How spontaneous!
I didn't even club before... suaku (hokkien: ignorant).
